Planning for next year. Don't have the books in hand yet.

I've almost finished my planning for 12-13 school year. The only hold up I have at the moment is not having CW Chreia in hand. I won't be able to order it until Saturday. But I want to get the planning behind me.

I went to the Lulu site and according to the TOC (thanks for the peek) there are 100 lessons and 5 writing projects.

Would it be safe to start day one with lesson one, ending Unit One with lesson 23 then giving a week to complete the writing project? The doing the same for each of the five units.

That would give us 55 days (out of a 180 school year) to finish Intermediate Poetry.

Or is there another recommended plan?

TIA,

What you've written sounds like a plan, but we'd recommend doing each writing project more than once. Our suggested schedule is in the Chreia Student Guide -- you can see the schedules for weeks 1 and 23 in the preview. We've combined the shorter lessons, spread out a few of the longer lessons, and most weeks have a writing project going along with the lessons.
