Herodotus

I am considering using Herodotus for my daughter's senior year as I think she could benefit from a focus on the argumentative writing instruction. I notice in the description on your website that it also teaches how to write timed essays for testing. How in depth does it teach this? I was planning on using IEW's Student Essay Intensive to cover this but will not need it if Herodotus covers it well.

I do not know how IEW teaches intensive essays. We go through the different components of a college adminssions essay, intro, body, conclusions, offer strategies for reading the prompt properly and answering it properly, that sort of thing.

You may want to get Herodotus, look over the college essay part, see if you like it, and if not, get IEW as well.
