The Mott edition of Harvey's is the most accessible. You need to get the elementary grammar. Harvey's 1880 is extremely close to the Mott edition. Only a few references to lame horses and some other 19th century sentences are left out in the Mott edition. Spelling is updated in a very few places too.
We used the 1880 edition because of copy right issues, since we cannot provide a student workbook or an AK to the Mott edition (legally speaking), but it is very possible for you to buy the Mott editions and use our workbooks and answer keys with it.
Our Harvey student workbooks and the answer keys are extensive. We provide full space in the workbook for all work. We make tables for all the grammar in the Harvey book, thereby providing a more visually spatially easy way to understand the concepts. We provide all answers to every sentence and parsing problem, and we diagram every sentence, even sentences that Harvey's does not ask for diagramming of.
Our Harvey workbooks and AKs are really an important resource in understanding the Harvey book and in learning to diagram well.
